Moral

A lesson about right or wrong learned in the movie.


 

Blurb

Information about the movie to encourage people to view it.


 

Critic

A person who writes his opinion on movies in a newspaper or magazine.

 

 

Ratings System

What the reviewer uses to rate the movie – whether its a good movie or a poor movie.


 

Audience demographics

Who is likely to watch and enjoy the movie e.g. ‘Suitable for young children’.


 

Critical bias

Where the reviewer has a problem with something in the movie e.g. People who have a fear of spiders will be unlikely to enjoy ‘Arachnophobia’


 

Cliché

Something that’s been overused & is no longer interesting.

 

Hype Exaggerated publicity.
Spoiler A reviewer who tells what happens at the end of the movie.
