Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
This movie takes place on an island out in the Atlantic. Flint Lockwood [played by Bill Hader], is an inventor who invents a machine that can make food from water taken from clouds in the sky. The question is will his invention help the town or destroy it?
The people of the town eat nothing but sardines so the Mayor proposes constructing an adventure park called ”Sardineland” and invites an American News Crew to come to the island to do a feature on his new theme park.
When the news crew arrive, their weather girl Sam Sparks [played by Anna Faris], meets Flint, likes his inventions and they both fall in love with each other. She likes his talking monkey assistant Steve and his new spray on shoes. The plot revolves around Flint and Sam trying to save the world before it is destroyed by Flints machine.
This film is a comedy. It also has elements of surprise, romance and science fiction. I think this movie is really good in the way it uses animation and imagination. I would give this movie a 9/10 for it’s comedy and creativity. The reason I did not give this movie 10/10 was because I thought some aspects were too unreal and unbelievable, like the food falling from the sky. But other than this small flaw I really enjoyed the movie.

How to train your Dragon.

The name of this movie is ‘How to train your Dragon’. Dreamworks, the company who produced this movie, have produced many good movies such as “Shrek” and “Flushed Away” and I think this movie is just as good as them.
This movie was directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, I think there was two directors because one was needed to direct the graphics and scenes and the other director was used to create the storyline.
The genre of this movie is a cartoon/comedy. It is also in 3D, now I myself haven’t seen any 3D movies before but I wasn’t scared at all!
Now I would have to recommend this movie to boys and girls over the age of 7 mainly because there was only 2 or 3 scenes out of the movie that were a bit scary, but it is definitely a family movie.
The name of the main character was “Hiccup” a Viking aged between 13 or 14 who’s mother had died when he was younger leaving his father, the Chief Viking, to rear him.
How to train your Pet Dragon is about a young Viking named Hiccup who lived on an island that was always being ransacked by dragons. But then one night when the island is being destroyed by dragons, Hiccup catches a “Nightfury”, a type of dragon, with his wooden contraption of some sort, but he doesn’t have enough courage to kill it so instead he “trains” it because no one knows anything about Nightfury’s.
I definitely liked Dreamworks Dragons! It was absolutely brilliant! And yet it wasn’t actually that scary. If it was up to me I would give this movie 9 out of 10.

Hiya, About two weeks ago I went to see Alice in Wonderland.I think all the characters were great, but I especially liked the Red Queen. I dont know the name of the actress but she played her character very well. I liked it best when she screamed “Off with the head!” I also liked the way if you ate some special cake you would grow, and if you drank a special drink you would shrink. I would give this movie three stars. It’s not the best movie but it’s still good.
