Raharas’ Great Victory
It was an easy win for Rahara NS on a warm day in Knockcroghery last week. Tom Killion was the referee. Cloonfour NS had lots of support but the Rahara fans were louder. Cloonfour scored first but the Rahara lads kept on fighting. They all kept tackling and started to score. Before long we were in the lead. During the first half Thomas and Daniel O’ both scored goals. The half-time score was 3-8 to 0-2 for Rahara.
After half-time things got a little more interesting! The scores had changed. A lot! Rahara played all their subs, including all the boys in third class. Cloonfour started to come back but were no match for Rahara! The scores were now 5-11 to 4-5 when the whistle blew. We had won the Roscommon County Final!
By Daniel C (3rd Class)
Well Done Rahara. It appears to have been a very good match, but you were the better team in the end. If 3rd class were playing this year you will be very strong next year!!!
Enjoy your win!
well done daniel go rahara!!!!!!! yeah!!!!
