Today a lady from ‘The Irish Catholic’ came to see us. She is doing an article on the parish and wanted to hear all about our iPods!
We had visitors to our class from RTÉ today. They videoed in both Ms Maher and Mr Gallagher’s class.

We have been working hard on our county. We used our iPods to research information about it such as the main towns and rivers. We put all our information together.
Today we are continuing our work on the Normans. We read a passage that mentioned Strongbow and we decided to learn more about him. First we spent time brainstorming the qustions that we wanted to find out about him.
Once we had come up with all our questions we set about finding the answers using our iPod touch.
Today we had visitors from 2nd class. They were looking for information about their country for multicultural week. We showed them how to find their information. Once they had completed their work we let them explore our apps. They really enjoyed it and we really enjoyed showing them.
We are beginning to learn about the Normans. We used our iPod touches today to find out about the different castles built by the Normans in Ireland.
Our class is working on a project on Kenya for our multicultural week. We are using our iPod touches to find out interesting facts today and to draw the flag.
