Resources for Project: Any IWB, a teaching laptop, speakers/sound system, one/two classroom PCs with Microsoft word, printer, Internet, blog (for publication of work – optional).
Class Level: 2nd class – 6th class
Time Frame: Contentious work throughout the school year
Setting up a Class email address: As the children in my class don’t have individual email addresses at school, we use our class email address as our address and also the address we sent files/documents to. It is also a good way of storing files/link etc the children have created without getting too involved in email addresses.

This project focus on the English curriculum. It looks at using the IWB creatively through the three strands of the English Curriculum – Reading, Writing and Oral Language. All of the work around the IWB and the classroom PC involves children working collaboratively in groups to produce a finished product for display, publication or simply to have fun with.
In order for all children to use IWB effecitivy the project focuses on station teaching in the English Curriculum covering may strand and strand units at once.
