We love putting words in alphabetical order in the station time.

Sometimes in the morning before class starts we use the IWB. Our teacher puts on a website and we work as a group to see what it is. She doen’t give us a explaination. This is fun.  We love to figure things out.

One of our stations is using the IWB. Before the stations our teacher showed us the website from http://www.tes.iboard.co.uk/activity/32427. This is the story of the Three Little Pigs. We worked in groups to make two scenes each from the story. When the bell rang the next group came up and made the next two scenes. At the end we watched the whole story and talked about ways we could improve it. We then printed it into a comic strip and put it in the library.

We created superheros during the station time. There were 5 people in our group. We used the IWB pen to click on a charater and then we had to get skin, armour, headgear etc and choose colours for them. When we finished our superhero we emailed it to our class email. Some of us love to use this at home and email our superhero. Our teacher shows us it from the IWB.

We had great fun making these games. We partnered off with someone from our station. Some of us worked in threes. Our teacher showed us an example of the quiz on the IWB. Some of us played it. It looked fun. We worked with our partners and decided on a topic for the game. Some of us chose stories from our reader, some of us chose colours and places. For homework we thought of 5 questions each. The next day in the station time we used Microsoft word to write our questions and our answers out.
We had to make a question and put a question mark at the end. Then we had to put a star and then the answer. We learned all about the shift key to make the star and question mark. We then saved all of our work in word. The next day in teh station teacher worked  more with us to get the game on the blog. She showed us how to copy our questions and answers to the website http://classtools.net/education-games-php/quiz/. We had to save our quiz first. Then we got a code to embed it to this blog. We are looking forward to playing the games when our turn comes on the IWB station.

We created comics using the website http://www.makebeliefscomix.com/Comix/. We created them in pairs when the station teaching was on. Some of us loved creating them so much we made them at home and were able to email them to our class email address. We were able to use the IWB to show our comics to the class. We then printed them off and stapled them together to make a comic book.
