The European Virtual Museum, The Smithsonian , The Vatican Museum’s, and the Louvre are four wonderfully extensive virtual museums. There is so much to see at these sites that you will want to spend some time.

The Google Art Project was just announced. It takes the street view of google into museums worldwide, showcasing over 1,000 artworks. It’s interactive, provides extraordinary close-ups of Art work, allows you to create collections and share those collections.  Amazing.
