The first pupil post on St Clares Radio

A sixth class pupil has designed and created a new logo for the St. Clares Radio blog and it will be unveiled in the coming days. The sixth class pupil has also designed an icon which will show that a podcast is present in a blog post. We are looking forward to seeing both of them. Perhaps this pupil and others within the school would be interested in designing Googles new logo. Check out DoodleForGoogle for more information.

What is St Clares Radio all about?

This year in St Clares PS, Harolds Cross, Dublin the pupils will be creating and adding podcasts to a new school website (blog). A podcast is a recording created by a person and posted on the web.  The aim of this website is to promote languages within the school. As well as english and Irish podcasts, pupils will also be adding podcasts in German. The first of many podcasts will be posted within the next couple of days.

An excellent article on podcasting may be found on teachers.tv by Joe Dale. CLICK HERE.
